How the Spring Finder Works
Hi3 Water tracks more than 106,000 springs across North America. Search a ZIP code to get the ones nearest you, measured as a true geodesic radius rather than a bounding box, so a 25-mile search never returns something 30 miles away. Search a state instead to see its springs ranked by Water Intelligence Score.
Every spring links to a full profile covering:
- Water Intelligence Score (WIS 0–100) and letter grade
- Flow rate, depth, and geological setting
- Water rights status and legal risk
- Dry-up, legal, and environmental risk scores
- Nearby comparable assets
